This is your opportunity to take your first steps to the partnership. The practice has a highly successful corporate tax team thanks to a coherent strategy and strong marketing. The firm works with quoted companies and entrepreneurial SME’s from a wide range of sectors. A marketing team/sales team backs the tax team, and all BD activity has third party (internal) support.

As a senior manager in this high profile firm …

•You will undertake tax consultancy assignments (the UK and International) for an SME client base, including property and construction, retail and manufacturing.

•Deal with: corporate restructuring and transactions, venture capital schemes, R&D tax relief, capital allowances and international tax.

•Drive the business forward by actively supporting the partners in winning new work – assisting with proposals, developing work from clients, pursuing new targets ( heavily supported by marketing team) and running seminars.

•Work on developing new tax advisory services - supported by a technical team

This role will advance you to the director and put you in a position to make partners in a 3-6 year timeline. This is, of course, dependent on the business case. However, you will be the most senior person after the partner, and this is a position with a strong BD element to it.
