About the Role:

As a Tax Manager, you will use your extensive tax knowledge to build trusted relationships with clients and provide high-quality tax advice. Your work will cover a variety of complex areas, such as Corporation Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Income Tax, VAT, and Inheritance Tax. You will also handle specialist tasks such as embedded capital allowances claims, land remediation relief claims, EIS/SEIS applications, and share scheme projects.

Key technical responsibilities:

- Prepare and present tax advisory reports covering a wide range of topics.
- Carry out IHT computations, company reorganisation projects, and personal tax reviews.
- Implement share restructuring projects and share scheme implementations.
- Manage client exit strategies and communicate directly with HMRC on behalf of clients, addressing enquiries into personal and corporate tax returns.
- Identify tax planning opportunities within your portfolio and offer proactive services to improve client relationships.

Other:

- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior team members.
- Ensure the highest quality and standards in tax services by reviewing team members' work.
